Accidents happen

*Japan was popular for its night life, but even for this musician, it wasn't for him. It was nice to take a break, though, and meet with one of his long time friends. There was a good age difference between them, but the alpha was his friend and their families were close. Spotting the Korean alpha was easy from his scent alone. It was distinct, masculine but with an underlying scent of flowers. The younger was not like other alphas. Much like he himself wasn't like many omegas.*

*Waving the younger over, he smiled softly to his friend and started them off on a round of drinks. They took their time catching up on things. By this time, his friend had taken over the family business while he himself became a very popular musician. He was well known for his guitar and vocals.*

So no mate yet, huh? I'm surprised.

*He said with a soft laugh. Normally society would frown upon his own personal choice to not be mated yet and childless at his age. Many alphas tried, some even were abusive, but he came through it all without changing his views.*

I'm glad I'm not the only one. I think you would make someone very happy, despite their secondary gender.

*Daisuke smiled, his brilliant white teeth showing as his soft lips curled up in a fond and teasing smile. Die often wondered when the younger would be mated.*

*Die chuckled and shook his head, he would do something in return, definitely, even if the younger would want to decline.*

*He said with a smile as he climbed into the car. His friend was just too good to him. Seungho had always been like that. Their families were convinced that they would end up as mates, but Die wasn't sure about it. Seungho wasn't like other alphas, so that was a plus.*

Let me know when you're coming by, okay? I'll probably have to spray some scent neutralizes, my suppressants haven't been working so I gotta get new ones.

*Seungho just smiled at Die's words before nodding *

*With a smile, he thanked Seungho again when they arrived before stepping out of the car. He waved the younger off before he went into his apartment.*

*Die spent the rest of the day cleaning and relaxing, even working on some music. He changed into his pajamas and just hung around the place before bed.*

*The sleep was rather restless, waking him a few times until morning came, bringing an intense migraine. Die drank some water and fought to get out of bed, eating when he needed and huddling back under his covers.*

If I'm getting sick, this is the worst possible time...

*Seungho was relieved to see Die in the home safely but started to feel unwell the minute he got home. He got an early rest but sleep was restless and Seungho ended up tossing and turning with a major migraine.

Seungho thought for a moment what could had brought it around before freezing and hoped that his guess wouldn't be true or Die was going to be so pissed at him*

*The next morning, Seungho weakly called a cab and went over to Die's place, knocking on the door, hoping that Die isn't feeling like he is*

*Die geoaned as he started to crawl out of bed, making himself move and function. When he heard a knock on his door, he groaned and put out a cigarette he had light before spraying some airfreshiner to get rid of the smell.*

*He walked over to the door, opening it and looking out to see Seungho. Die squinted from the light and pulled open the door for Seungho to come in. Once the younger was in, he closed the door and locked it, leaving them in the darker living room.*

Turns out I was more dehydrated than I thought. Migraine the size of Asia. You look like you've seen better days.

*He said with a chuckle as he guided the other go sit on the couch before going to the kitchen and getting them water bottles. Tossing one to Seungho, he moved to sit down across from Seungho on a chair.*

Hyung... I think we should go see a doctor

I suddenly got a migraine too

*Seungho's heart sank when he saw Die's state, realising that it could be a sign of withdrawal from being away from a newly bonded mate*

I think I know what is happening to us

*Seungho sat down gratefully and gulped down the water that Die tossed to him*

Weird... you didn't drink that much...

*Die sighed, drinking his own water as he ran a hand through his hair.*

I'll see if they can fit us in today, my head hurts way too much to ignore.

*He said with a groan, but the scent of Seungho seemed to help lessen the ache. Die didn't understand why, but he wasn't questioning it.*

*Seungho nodded in relief when Die agreed before reaching over to rub at Die's neck gently*

*Die groaned softly in relief as he felt Seungho rubbing his neck gently. He chuckled and shook his head.*

I didn't get much done. I was feeling off when I got home.

*Die took up his phone and dialed his doctor. He spoke with them briefly before thanking them.*

Alright, we have an appointment in like an hour. They had some people cancel on them.

*Sitting his phone aside, Die moved to sit next to Seungho and leaned against him, resting his head on the youngers shoulder.*

Just rest then...

We have a short while before we need to go

*Seungho nodded but kept rubbing at Die's neck, holding his friend, hoping that if his guess was true, he wouldn't lose Die as a friend*

*Die closed his eyes to just relax and help will stay the migraine. The more he stayed close to Seungho, the more it started to lessen. He couldn't seem to figure out why it was working like this, but he figured he would find out soon.*

*He looked at the time and sighed, getting up reluctantly from the sofa.*

I need to get dressed. Not the best idea to go out in my pajamas.

*Die chuckled and moved to get dressed, pulling on some jeans, a black shirt and a flannel plaid button down over that to keep warm. Pushing his sunglasses on, he went back out to join the other, pocketing his things.*

I'll drive, I'm okay now.

I will wait here

*Seungho smiled at Die, waiting patiently but looked up worriedly at Die's suggestion*

You sure?

Maybe we should take a cab instead, just to be safe

*Die wanted to protest, but relented and let Seugho call a cab for them. He waited with the younger and climbed into the cab with the younger.*

Well, I'll cover the bill, I just hope they can help. This morning was utter hell.

*He said after giving the address to the driver.*

What did you think was wrong?

I am not sure... But I have a hunch that's all

I think it is better to wait for the doctor's diagnosis

*Seungho gently held Die's hand, squeezing it slightly*

*Die just nodded and looked out the window, thankful that his head was starting to hurt less. His eyes were adjusting to the light better, making him relax more. When they got to the doctor, Die paid the cab fare before leading them inside.*

*The office was empty, thankfully, so they were able to get into the doctor without much of a wait.*

I will be asking some rather invasive questions, I hope you don't mind. When was the last time you were sexually active?

*Die sighed and looked at the doctor before answering.*

At the least, a year. Been too busy and haven't wanted to with my suppressants not working as well. I can only guess that the contraceptives are the same way, didn't want to test it either.

*The doctor nodded and made notes before looking to Seungho for his answer.*

*The doctor hummed and jotted down more notes before looking back to Die.*

*Die shook his head and sighed softly as he couldn't see how this was helping.*

Yes we did... Just yesterday, but it was done for reassurance, not as if we are scenting to become bonded

I see... well, this does explain a lot then. Because it is so close to mating season and the suppressants not working normally would also be a cause. When this traumatic event happened and you scented each other, inadvertantly bonded. It may not have been intentional, but your bodies and instincts couldn't tell the difference.

*The doctor explained, leaving Die shocked in disbelief. He hesitated for a moment before finally speaking.*

But... I... is there anyway for this can be broken or something?

There is, but it will be tough. I can prescribe you both some medication for the pain and some sleep aids to help you both sleep. It will be hard, but of you are determined enough and resilient enough, it can be done.

*Seungho closed his eyes when his guess came true, he liked the idea of bonding with Die so he turned his head hard when Die asked if it could be broken*

*Seungho looked at the doctor before asking softly*

Could we have a moment to talk about this please? It is a huge surprise for the both of us

I can't do this, Seungho. You're family, yes, you mean a lot to me, but... but I have a career and I'm not always in one place. I can't do that to you.

*Die said with a sigh, trying to think rationally.*

Let's just... try it, okay? If it's too much, then we will try it out.

*He hated seeing that look on Seungho, the disappointment and sadness.*

*Seungho looked at Die, knowing that he meant what he said*

*Die sighed and shook his head, he wasn't used to being tied down, to have someone else to account for as well.*

*He hoped he wasn't sounding too heartless.*

Let's just... try but if it's too much, then... we can give this bond thing a shot. I'm glad it's with you at least. You're someone I trust.

*Seungho nodded, at least there is a chance that Die will give it a shot if the bond breaking failed.

Seungho liked the idea of caring for Die as a mate and was determined to show Die that it is possible*

*The doctor wrote them the prescriptions and made sure they were squared away before they left. Die was anxious, he didn't know what to do, but he knew it would be easier to give in. He wasn't ready for this though.*

So... they say to avoid each other, the scent kind of thing apparently makes it harder to break it. We might still be able to call and talk to each other.

*Die looked over the prescriptions and walked with Seungho as they went to get them filled.*

I don't want you to think I hate you. This was just an honest mistake and that won't make me not want to be your friend anymore. This won't destroy our friendship.
