*The zoo was always a busy place, families and friends, even dates alike would go to a zoo to see all sorts of captive living wild animals to get the chance to see them for themselves. The zoo of wild hybrids was no different, some lived like their wild counterparts. All but one.*

*Lounging in a tree, scales glittering in the streams of light, was the zoo's main attraction. The first and only living dragon hybrid. Dragons were legends, many thought they never existed, until now.*

*A proud scientist created him, the man had been laughed at and called a fool, but he proved them wrong. This was the first time, and Jonghyun was the first, until recently. Another dragon had been made to be his mate, to see if it could be bred with the prized main attraction.*

*The counterpart was in quarantine for some time, but it was cleared to be introduced into the habitat. The current resident was waiting for dinner, his creator said he would be joining him for his meal and had a surprise to share with him.*

*Jonghyun didn't hold back in his cries of bliss, thankful that there weren't any visitors at this time. The staff would be by to feed them, but they knew better than to stay and watch. The keepers had mutual respect for the hybrids.*

*He knew there was no chance that he would last long, he was already so close. Seungho was already making him mindless with bliss that he couldn't form words properly.*

Lots of people leave things here for me, I've been collecting them. There is a girl that comes here to draw me a lot and she leaves pretty gems for me.

*He said with a smile, wanting to show his small but proud collection to his mate. Jonghyun didn't like anyone messing with it, so no one was allowed in that part of his den. He even kept track of everything in case someone tried to take anything.*

This was my first one, the girl that tossed it in was so sad looking, but someone she knew gave her the coin and she cupped it in her hands like this and closed her eyes before she tossed it into my waters.

*He said as he showed exactly what the girl did. Jonghyun smiled brightly as he continued the story.*

When I went after it, she was smiling bright, I really hoped that it does bring her luck.

*What he didn't know was that the girl had just lost her mother and that her father had brought her to the zoo to cheer her up.*

Yes, it would be best to have them here. We need to collect some rocks to make the proper heat cradle for them to keep them heated. We will need something to start and keep the fire going.

*Jonghyun said as he took the coin and places it back in his collection. He looked around the den and tried to think of a place they could keep the eggs heated at. He moved over to a small alcove next to where he slept and smiled.*

Right here is where they can be heated. They will be close, so we will know when they hatch.

*A large cage with a tarp covering all sides was being unloaded into the zoo, the humans taking care to not disturb the sleeping creature inside. A man was waiting to brief Jaejin on the subject when the young man would arrive.*

*Jaejin came into the zoo, worried that it could be something wrong with Jonghyun or Seungho.

Jaejin looked at the large cage and ordered for the tarp to be removed. He looked at the beautiful dragon hybrid in front of him*

Jaejin moved closer and started to study the sleeping dragon, frowning at the collar around his neck*

Yes, sir. We have alerted the conservationists that we will be sending it back to them. Is there an open quarantine hold that we can place him in?

*The man asked as the person next to him tapped away at a tablet, requesting the informations of the conservationists findings and information recorded on the dragon.*

With your studies on dragon hybrids, we thought it best to bring him here to you. Once they heard you planned on breeding the two you have, the wanted to have him become impregnated before sending him back to help the population grow.

*Jaejin's assistant explained before dismissing the man with the tablet once they got the email about getting the information first thing in the morning.*

They said they found him in the Himalayas, it explains all of the jade jewelry on him. We just don't know how he acquired it or how he survived up there with nothing but his flesh and scales.

Well, they hope to have the young released once they reach maturity and are kicked out of the nest They want to try and raise the numbers of dragons in the wild and hope to keep tabs on them to see if there are any more wild ones.

*The iridescent white scaled dragon stirred slightly, but didn't wake, much to their relief, as he was placed in the holding area. He was much taller than they had originally thought he would be, being a submissive.*

*The hybrid slept until the tranquilizer wore off, slowly coming out of the haze with a groan. He rubbed his eyes and looked around, unsure of his surroundings. He sat up quickly, but grabbed his head as the action caused him to become dizzy.*

*This strange place was nothing like the secluded mountain villages that he was used to when he needed to trade with humans. It did reek of humans as he sniffed around, and a faint scent of another dragon, but it was mostly gone by now.*

*He asked in confusion as he looked at the tray before him. There were familiar foods there that he recognized, along with a few new things that he had never had before. He was used to cooking for himself now that his mother had left him on his own years ago.*

*His mother was still alive, along with his eldest brother. They would sometimes cross paths and have a meal together like old times before they went back to their own territories.*

*He titled his head to the side curiously, not quite understanding the human. Humans didn't usually have the knowledge of how to hatch their kind. This human had to know something more than what usual humans did about his kind.*

Why do they need to know about us? It will bring bad times to our kind. We went into hiding centuries ago to keep safe from humans and their curious ways.

*Jiho picked up the chopsticks and examined the food, sniffing it to smell if there was any poison or bad things in the food. Once he was sure it was okay, he started to eat.*

*Jaejin huffed, a little upset at the thought of stealing eggs but smiled when Jiho started to eat*
